These general terms and conditions apply to all services provided by BV Maurice Hulp (hereinafter "Maurice & Nora"), registered at Teichmannstraat 2, bus 301, 2018 Antwerp, with company number 1023.021.881. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Platform": the website, app, and digital tools provided by Maurice & Nora.
- "User": any person who registers on the platform as a senior, family member, employer, or student.
- "Helper": a student registered on the platform to provide assistance services.
- "Services": all forms of help arranged through the Maurice & Nora platform.
2. Registration and account
To use our services, you must create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and the confidentiality of your login credentials. Maurice & Nora reserves the right to refuse or suspend accounts.
3. Services
Maurice & Nora connects users with carefully screened student helpers for household tasks, companionship, transport, and other services. We act as an intermediary and are not a party to the agreement between the user and the helper.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices for services are communicated via the platform. Payment is processed through the platform. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation
Cancellation terms are communicated at the time of booking. Late cancellations may result in charges as specified on the platform.
6. Liability
Maurice & Nora carefully screens all helpers but cannot guarantee the quality of individual services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect damages.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the platform (texts, images, logos, software) is the property of Maurice & Nora and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8. Privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, available on our website.
9. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Antwerp.
10. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on our website. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
